Ian Carlstrom is the Regional Director of the West Central Minnesota SBDC, where he spearheads initiatives that translate emerging technologies into practical operational improvements for small businesses. A recognized leader in AI adoption, he developed the "10 [C]hats" training framework and the AI Resource Lab to help advisors confidently utilize artificial intelligence with their clients. For his impactful work, Ian was named one of America’s SBDC 40 Under 40 in 2024 and led his center to win the 2025 Minnesota SBA SBDC Excellence and Innovation Award.
